Join Angela K. Evans and Julia Hotz of the Solutions Journalism Network for a 90-minute workshop exploring how to report mental health stories that highlight what’s working, not just what’s broken. Drawing on real examples of solutions stories and interactive exercises, participants will practice applying the core pillar of solutions journalism to mental health coverage and explore how to layer in visual storytelling.
This will be a required training for our incoming CatchLight Focus: Mental Health Visual Desk grantees. Local newsroom members and former Mental Health Visual Desk grantees are welcome. Public space is limited.
