Camilla Forte is a visual journalist based in Chicago. Her work centers on stories of resilience, equity and community care, often focusing on how everyday people overcome adversity. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago, Forte was director of photography at the Columbia Chronicle and participated in the New York Times Student Journalism Institute. She later worked as a multimedia producer for The Hechinger Report. With a focus on documentary storytelling, Forte uses photography, video and archival tools to examine education, policy and intergenerational impact across marginalized communities.
