About the featured speaker:
Adam/n Perez (2025 Global Fellow) is an independent director and photographer born and raised in California’s rural Central Valley. His work spans genres and mediums, all rooted in intimate storytelling.
His project, “Of the Fields,” is a storytelling fellowship for California Central Valley farmworkers, who will document their lives across a harvest season through photography and video.
The Emerson Collective, The Center for Cultural Power, The California Arts Council, and the Academy of Arts and Sciences have supported his work on farmworker communities.
